Jana works at JMMDS as a landscape architect and team designer on many projects. She holds degrees in Fine Arts and Landscape Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design.  She finds creative inspiration from patterns and colors in nature, gardens, weaving and other fiber arts.  Jana’s favorite garden memory is exploring marigold seeds with her great grandmother.

Anna Karina Johansen

Licensed Landscape Architect

Anna is the project manager and designer on a range of public and private JMMDS projects.  She is a native of Vermont, has a BS in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University, an avid gardener, and also has an organic cut flower business.

 

Jennifer Silver

Marketing/Special Projects Manager

Jennifer Silver has put her Dartmouth education to use in a variety of jobs, from high school English teacher to writer of racy True Confessions stories. When she moved to Vermont ten years ago, she discovered her true passion: sustainable agriculture. She is never happier than when writing or gardening. At JMMDS, she gets to write about gardens—what could be better?

 

 

 

Erica Ludlow Bowman

Landscape Design Consultant

Erica manages JMMDS projects in the New England area and beyond. She is proficient in CAD programs and is our resident surveyor.

 

 


Bethany Gracia

Design and Illustration Consultant

Bethany does illustration for online applications, books and magazine articles, assists with company marketing, and is a seasoned gardener and trained horticulturalist.

 

 

 

Steve Jonas

Business Manager

Steve is in charge of accounting and related business matters. Given his “other life” as a management and organizational development consultant, Steve also facilitates some of Julie’s workshops.
